A two‐surface damage‐plasticity model based on a Drucker—Prager yield criterion

چکیده
A gradient-extended two-surface damage-plasticity model based on a von Mises yield criterion has been proposed by [1, 2], which can be flexibly adapted to (quasi-)brittle-like, ductile-like, or various material behaviors in between. However, the does not take into account effect of hydrostatic pressure, therefore it hardly failure behavior pressure-sensitive materials such as geomaterials and some metals. For this reason, pressure-dependent Drucker-Prager is current work, nonlinear hardening also included. Plasticity damage are treated distinct but coupled dissipative phenomena approach. Furthermore, numerical implementation discussed study, return mapping procedures smooth portion vertex cone detail.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

a study on insurer solvency by panel data model: the case of iranian insurance market
the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
A Bootstrap Model Selection Criterion Based on Kullback’s Symmetric Divergence
Following on recent work of [Cavanaugh, 1999] and [Seghouane, 2002], we propose a new corrected variant of KIC develop for the purpose of sources separation. Our variant utilizes bootstrapping to provide an estimate of the expected Kullback-Leibler symmetric divergence between the model generating the data and a fitted approximating model. Simulation results that illustrate the performance of t...
متن کاملA Penalization Criterion Based on Noise Behaviour for Model Selection
Complexity-penalization strategies are one way to decide on the most appropriate network size in order to address the trade-off between overfitted and underfitted models. In this paper we propose a new penalty term derived from the behaviour of candidate models under noisy conditions that seems to be much more robust against catastrophic overfitting errors that standard techniques. This strateg...
